Day 01: Arrival Delhi - Drive from Delhi to Rishikesh

On reaching Delhi by Rail or Air, get ready for a scenic drive to Rishikesh – the world capital site famous for Yoga.

Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh is a beautiful city that remains thronged with devotees and adventure enthusiasts all through the year. The city features a unique charm and scenic beauty which adds to the visit of every traveler. Firstly, you will be driven to the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, which is located around 32 km from Rishikesh. Set at an elevation of 1331 meter, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is one among the most revered temples of Lord Shiva in the country. As per the legend, the temple is constructed at the same place where Lord Shiva consumed poison which came out of Samudra, because of which his throat turned blue. This incidence gave him the name of Neelkanth. Seek blessings of Lord Shiva and then leave for the next attraction.

Visit Lakshman Jhula, a popular attraction of Rishikesh Town. The place is known to offer picturesque views of the snow capped mountains and lush green forests. The bridge was built in the year 1939 and it is believed that Lakshman, brother of Lord Ram, crossed the Ganges on jute ropes, on which the bridge stands today.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Rishikesh town

This day is booked for sightseeing at the popular attractions of Rishikesh town. As you travel through the revered shrines and popular ashrams of Rishikesh town, you get to know more about the rich history of the place. So, you visit attractions like Triveni Ghat, which is the place of confluence of the three holy rivers- the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati and Bharat Mandir, which was built back during 9th century by philosopher Adi Shankaracharya.

Shivpuri is a beautiful place which is well-known for offering spectacular views of the valley. The place is also popular for activities like rafting and camping. You can indulge in activities like bungee jumping.

Enjoy sightseeing and some adventure sports. Later, come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 03: Drive from Rishikesh town to Mussoorie town

In the morning, you check out from the hotel and leave for your next destination- Mussoorie town, the Queen of Hills in the northern part of himalayas

Located at the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas, Mussoorie is set at an elevation of 1880 meter and offers breathtaking views of the snow capped Shivalik ranges. Day 04: Sightseeing in Mussoorie town

Wake up with the soft breeze of Mussoorie town and get ready for a day set amid its serenity and scenic beauty. Begin with a visit to the popular tourist attractions of Mussoorie town. The pleasant weather adds to your sightseeing tour of Mussoorie town. Spend some time at the alluring Kempty Falls and feel close to nature. DARJEELING GANGTOK TOUR

05 Nights / 06 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Darjeeling

Your trip to Darjeeling starts from today. Our representative will receive you at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra airport. From here, our representative will be assisting further in your journey to Darjeeling also called queen of the hills, which is around 68 km away. Located at an average height of 6700 ft, Darjeeling is a beautiful hill station that is famous for its scenic Himalayan trenches and sprawling tea estates.

Here you also have the luxury of exploring its breathtaking beauty of the surroundings on the UNESCO acclaimed Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, which is famous as the toy train. After an hour and forty minutes, you would be entering the mesmerizing realms of Darjeeling town. Check in at the hotel, and relax for a while. Rest of the day would be free, so you can spend it at leisure or choose to walk out to the local market or a shopping mall. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

On 2nd day get ready for Darjeeling tour. Start your day fresh with a mountain trip to Tiger Hill. Being the highest point of Darjeeling, Tiger Hill offers some of the best sights of the Himalayas, which are apt to be visited early in the morning. Imagine yourself standing in front of the mighty Kanchenjunga peak, the snow clad peaks of which are turning golden due to the rising sun. This panoramic view is the best introduction of Tiger Hill. In order to catch this breathtaking sight, leave early from your hotel. The magnificent hill is around 11 km from the town of Darjeeling.

As you climb down the hill, you would be embarking on a visit to the incredible Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. One of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling, Ghoom Monastery is about 7 Km from the town and is famous for its huge statue of Lord Buddha. Post that, drive back to your hotel for a hearty breakfast. Rest of the day is scheduled for visiting major attractions inside the town which is the highlight of the Darjeeling itinerary.

First on the list would be Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, followed by Lebong race course, Peace Pagoda, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tensing-Gumbo rock, ropeway and Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological park, which houses the rare Snow leopard and Tibetan wolf. You also would be getting a chance to visit the lush green tea estates, which the town is so proud of. Sip on famous Darjeeling tea and revive your senses. As you would be done with all the sightseeing, head back to the comfort of your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Gangtok

On 3rd day, get transferred from Darjeeling to Gangtok. Post breakfast, make a check out from your hotel and head to Gangtok, a mystical hill station in the Himalayas of the North-East. Located in the eastern Himalayan range, Gangtok has an amazing blend of nature and religion. Amidst dense forests and Himalayan peaks, lies the quaint hill station of Gangtok, which is dotted with several colorful monasteries.

The drive to Gangtok takes around 2 hrs and 23 mins. Thus, you would be having ample time to relax in your hotel. You can even utilize time to explore the nearby attractions, which are at walking distance. This would be followed by an overnight stay in your hotel in Gangtok.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Gangtok

Once you are done with the breakfast, our tour representative will be guiding you to the sightseeing tour of Gangtok. With the maiden visit to Enchey and Rumtek monastery, Gangtok tour starts on a spiritual note. Both the Enchey and Rumtek are amongst the most significant of the monasteries located in Gangtok.

The former is located at a distance of around 3 km from Gangtok. The legendary monastery is believed to be constructed 200 years back, and today it marks an important seat of Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism. On the contrary, Rumtek monastery is open to every kind of a Buddhist. Little older than Enchey, Rumtek monastery houses relics of the 16th Karmapa.

Post that, you would be visiting the Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Chorten and Orchid sanctuary. By evening, you will be back in your hotel. Call it a day and spend the night at leisure.

Day 5: Excursions from Gangtok

Day 5 of our exclusive Darjeeling-Gangtok tour is dedicated to excursions from Gangtok. Under this, you would be heading towards the very popular Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo is a glacial lake, which is around 38 km from the town of Gangtok. Scaling the Gangtok-Nathula highway, which goes through rugged mountain terrains and cliffs, you would be reaching the beautiful Sikkimese lake. This will take around an hour.

The lake is famous for its scenic and tranquil beauty which makes it a peaceful outing place. Besides its beauty, Tsomgo lake also holds a sacred status. Right on the banks, lies a temple of Lord Shiva, which adds to the divinity of the region. After spending a wonderful time at the breathtaking Tsomgo lake, you will start your journey to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, which is located nearby. Unlike the other shrines in Sikkim, which are dedicated to some deity or religious concept, Baba Mandir commemorates an army martyr, Major Harbhajan Singh.

The shrine has a lot of significance for the locals as well as the personnels of Indian army posted in the region. Major Harbhajan Singh was an Indian army officer as well as a saint. Army personnels believe that the spirit of him protects them in every situation and owing to this belief, they dedicated a shrine to him. The shrine is nestled at an altitude of around 4000 mtrs, high up in the hills.

Post that, a visit to the Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Chorten and Orchid sanctuary is scheduled in your Gangtok family tour package. By evening, you will be back in your hotel. Call it a day and spend the night at leisure.

Day 6: Journey back home

Your 6 day Darjeeling Gangtok tour package ends today. Pack your bags and post breakfast, check out from the hotel and Gangtok. You would be transferred to the New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport for your journey back home.

Day 01: Delhi – Nainital

Day 02: Nainital - Bhimtal - Sattal- Nainital

You can begin this morning with a visit to the Cheena Peak which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayas. Spend rest of the day with a trip to Bhimtal and Sattal. Bhimtal is a scenic lakeside destination which offers a soothing environment to all the visitors.

Sattal is a place where seven lakes come together. The place is surrounded by beautiful green scenery. In the evening, return to Nainital and enjoy shopping at the mall road. Have a comfortable stay at night.

Day 03: Nainital - Mukteshwar - Nainital

Munch your breakfast and then head to Mukteshwar for a full day outing. Set in the Kumaon Hills, Mukteshwar is popular tourist destination. Seek blessings at Mukteshwar Temple which is an ancient temple located in a beautiful isolated place. You can also visit the Little Church which is 75 years old and is located on the side of the hill. Also, you can enjoy a cable car ride to the Snow View Point. Day 04: Nainital - Corbett

After having your breakfast, drive to Corbett National Park. The park is 60 km from Nainital and it covers an area of 521 km². The park houses more than 500 species of animals, reptiles and birds. The place offers a lot to those who wish to have a closer look of nature. People can enjoy Jeep Safari and Elephant Ride in the park and enjoy their encounter with different species.

Wildlife of the park includes the Tiger, the Leopard, slot Bear, Jungle Cat, Fishing Cat, Wild Boar, Langur and Rhesus Monkeys, Gharial and Muggar Crocodiles. On arrival, check-in to the lodge and stay overnight.

Day 05: Corbett

Have a memorable experience this morning by taking up elephant ride or jeep safari. Enjoy the pleasant climate of the place amid the greenery surrounding the place. In the evening either go for a safari to spot the wildlife or spend time at leisure. Dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 1: Gangtok (Arrival) - Darjeeling

Upon arrival at the NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra airport, drive towards Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Darjeeling (sightseeing)

Early morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling which include visits to the Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Post breakfast in the morning, set out for a half day sightseeing tour of Darjeeling. The places you will visit includes Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Natural History Museum, Peace Pagoda, Tea Estate and Tensing -- Gumbo Rock. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 3: Darjeeling -Excursion to Mirik Lake-Darjeeling

Post breakfast in the morning, go out for a full day excursion to Mirik Lake via Nepal border.  Nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling, Mirik is a popular tourist spot famous for its salubrious climate, natural beauty and easy accessibility. Later, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Darjeeling-Excursion to Pemyangste Monastery- Darjeeling

Post breakfast in the morning, drive to the Pemyangtse monastery. Located 140 kilometers away from Gangtok, Pemyangtse monastery is a Buddhist monastery designed and founded by Lama Lhatsun Chempo. Stay overnight in Pelling. 

Day 5: Pelling (sightseeing)

Day 6: Pelling-Gangtok

Day 7: Gangtok (sightseeing)

Day 8: Gangtok-Excursion to Tsomgo Lake- Gangtok

Post breakfast in the morning, take a full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake is a glacier lake, which is around 40 kilometers away from Gangtok. The Baba Mandir is dedicated to the Indian army soldier ‘Harbhajan Singh’ who died near the Nathula Pass. By evening, return back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 9: Departure

Post breakfast in the morning, drive to the NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra airport to board train/flight for onward journey.

KOLKATA DARJEELING GANGTOK TOUR

Day 1: Kolkata

In the morning after reaching Kolkata, meet our representative at the airport. The representative would arrange a transfer to the hotel. Rest and relax for the day, after check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, move out for a tour to Kolkata. The major tourist attraction to visit includes the Victoria Memorial Hall, Science City, Metro Rail, Memorial Hall, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Mother Teresa Home, China Town, Rabindra Setu, and Vidyasagar Setu. Day 5: Gangtok-Kolkata

Day 1: Pipariya-Pachmarhi
Arrive at the nearest railway head to Pachmarhi, Pipariya railway station. Meet our tour representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to Pachmarhi. The road journey is of around an hour. Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Wake up early this morning and start your family tour by driving towards the famous Tiger Hill (11 km) to experience a sunrise like never before. As you pass through, thick forests of oak and magnolia, get ready to enjoy a sunrise over Kangchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). Tiger Hill is famous to offer a panoramic view of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga together. The monastery holds much importance for Buddhists as it preserves some of the rare Buddhist manuscripts. Day 4: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

A tranquil and scenic lake, Tsomgo Lake is one of the most popular attractions of Gangtok. Set at an elevation of 3780 m, this glacial lake is considered holy by Sikkimese people. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the lake. The place is a paradise for bird watchers as get to spot a number of Brahmini ducks and migratory birds near the lake.
Located at a distance of around 16 km from Tsomgo Lake is Baba Mandir. A popular pilgrim center, Baba Mandir is believed to possess wish fulfilling powers. The shrine is built in the memory of Baba Harbhajan Singh, who was an Indian Army soldier and lost his life near Nathula Pass. It is believed that he is still ‘on duty’ for the Indian Army and he guards the lives of soldiers posted on the India- China border.
You have an option of visiting Nathula Pass, which is located 20 km from the shrine. Later, head back to Gangtok. In the evening, go for a stroll around the Mall road or any of the local shopping centers. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Departure - Gangtok to Siliguri
This morning marks the end of your 5 days Darjeeling Gangtok tour package. Have some delicious breakfast and then leave for Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (119 km) / Bagdogra Airport (126 km) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (113 km). On reaching, carry on with your onward journey.

Day 1: Arrival in Coimbatore - Ooty (approx. 100 km/ 3 hours)

Day 2: Ooty – Coonoor - Ooty (approx. 1 hour)
The day, after breakfast, is for an excursion to Coonoor. This wonderful hill town has aromatic tea plantations, lofty verdant Nilgiri Hills and colorful wildflowers. Bird watching is a popular activity here due to avifaunal wealth. Do not miss a visit to the Dolphin's Nose- a massive rock formation in the shape of the nose of a dolphin. The views from top are breathtaking. Next, enjoy a visit to the Lamb's rock- a wonderful picnic spot, equally popular amid locals and tourists. Return to Ooty, one of the most popular hill stations in Tamil Nadu.

Day 3: Ooty - Kodaikanal (approx. 250 km / 6 hours)
Start your road journey to Kodaikanal. On the way, halt to visit the Palani temples. The temples here are a wonderful example of South Indian style of temple architecture. Later, continue your journey. As you reach, complete the check-in. Enjoy some refreshment and then leave for sightseeing of Kodaikanal. Known for its green hills, placid lakes, granite cliffs, lush valleys and cascading waterfalls, this hill station of Tamil Nadu has several attractions. Enjoy the peace spread all around. Day 4: Kodaikanal
Continue with the sightseeing today. The hill town of Kodaikanal is placed around the star shaped Kodai Lake, spread in an area of 60 acres. Popular places of tourist interest include the Kodai Lake, Kodaikanal Solar Physical Observatory, Bryant Park (housing 740 species of roses), Coaker's Walk (a long pathway with wonderful views), Kurunji Andavar Temple (dedicated to Lord Murugan or Kartikeya), Green Valley View with its wonderful vistas, Pillar Rocks (a picnic spot with a small well-maintained garden) and Shembaganur Natural History Museum.

Day 5: Kodaikanal- Munnar (160 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast start your road journey to Munnar, one of the best destinations in Kerala. On the way, there are a number of waterfalls. If you want, you can halt to click photographs and enjoy the scenery. Continue your road journey. Complete the check-in formalities on arrival. Munnar lies on the altitude of 6000 feet above the sea level and is visited by a decent number of tourists every year. The place has various attractions, lush tea plantations, lush surroundings, salubrious climate, adventure and more. The rest of the day is at leisure and you can explore the place at your own pace.Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 6: Munnar (sightseeing)
Post breakfast in the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of famous tourist spots in Munnar. The hill town is dotted with several attractions. Visit the Christ Church- a beautiful British church that was constructed in the year 1910; wildlife spotting at the Eravikulam National Park- called home by the endangered mountain goat of South India (the Nilgiri Tahr); Mattupetty Dam- a popular picnic site with lush surroundings where a dam constructed on a lake and lastly the Anamudi peak. Standing at an altitude of 2695 m above the sea level, this peak is placed inside Eravikulam. It is quite popular amid trekking enthusiasts.

Day 7: Munnar - Thekkady (approx. 110 km / 3 hours)
After breakfast on day 7, start your road journey towards Thekkady. The journey is filled with wonderful views. Afternoon arrival in Thekkady. Check into the wildlife resort. Thekkady is home to the very popular Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. You can either relax while enjoying the facilities at the hotel or can go for boat safari ride inside the park. It is one of those national parks, which is opened all throughout the year. It is known to be home to around 1000 elephants and 46 tigers. Other animals found here are Indian bison, langur, wild boar and sambar. Another feature here is the Periyar Lake.

Day 8: Thekkady – Kumarakom (approx. 130 km / 4 hours)
Today, after breakfast, leave for the pristine and peaceful hamlet of Kumarakom. On arrival, check into the backwater resort. Known for colorful chirpy birds and backwater tourism, Kumarakom is placed on the banks of Lake Vembanad. Lush surroundings and peaceful ambiance are complete charmer, bringing-in tourists from across. Head towards Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, also known as Vembanad bird sanctuary. This sanctuary is visited by bird watching enthusiasts and ornithologists in good numbers. Day 4: Cherrapunjee

Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati

Day 2: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park
Post breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple, a popular Hindu pilgrimage site. At the time of Ambubashi festival, this temple is thronged by over million devotees. After paying homage to the mother goddess Kamakhya, return back to the hotel and hit the road to the famous Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival, check into the Jungle resort. Explore the nearby Tea Estate in the afternoon followed by a cultural show in the evening. Stay overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga
During the early morning, around 5.30 am, explore the central and eastern range of the Kaziranga National Park via Elephant and Jeep safari respectively. Day 4: Kaziranga-Shillong

Day 5: Shillong - Cherrapunjee
